In order to deliver even more complete user experience, Microsoft would be looking to integrate some Google services with Outlook.com.
According to a recent publication by The Verge, the Redmond giant would have begun testing with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, currently offering the features to a limited number of users.
The news was spotted and posted by Florian B on Twitter. The user shared a screenshot where you can see the service integration notice, as shown below:

As we can see above, the service setup popup says something like: Add your Google Mail or Calendar to Outlook and easily manage everything in one place.
After going through the setup process, the user can check Gmail emails and Google Calendar entries as well as Google Drive files all on Outlook.com.
It is currently not possible to register more than one Gmail account in Outlook, but it is noteworthy that we are talking about service under test.
Integration with Google Drive makes it easy to attach files and documents stored in the cloud, which will come as a real “hand on the wheel” for many.
Outlook’s newness works similar to what we have in the official Android and iOS app, with separate inboxes and side-by-side calendar integration. It’s important to note that switching between Outlook and Gmail accounts refreshes the entire page.

Microsoft has confirmed that the feature is being tested by a spokesperson:
We are always looking for new ways to extend the best email experience to our customers and can confirm that we are experimenting with a small set of Outlook.com users to learn and get feedback.
