If you own a OnePlus smartphone running OxygenOS 10, get ready as the news will arrive via an update in the next few minutes!
We’re talking about the new intense dark mode, which the Chinese manufacturer has begun distributing to its Android 10-based smartphones.
The first models to feature were OnePlus 7T and 6T ( review here ) – users with OxygenOS 10.0.6 have already begun to notice the difference in their systems. For the 6T, the news only paints who is running the beta version of OxygenOS.
Interestingly OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7 have not yet received the news. Possibly the brand should distribute the intense dark mode to both in the coming weeks.
It’s important to note that we are not talking about the traditional dark mode, present in OnePlus smartphones since Android 9.

The intense dark mode uses even darker shades than the previously adopted dark gray, giving users less visual fatigue and, with luck, a greater battery economy.
