Pan Jiutan, a respected Chinese market analyst, recently said that the cost of manufacturing the Xiaomi Mi 11 is the same as the iPhone 12, a launch that gives the family a name. Experts had previously stated that the cost of the iPhone 12 is US $ 373 (R $ 1937, indirect conversion).

The word of Xiaomi executives is that the company always practices 5% profit on their cell phones and, therefore, it is difficult to say whether the company remains firm in its purpose or if there is any deviation since it is sold, according to the Chinese press, for $ 250 more than its cost. Still, it’s a lot cheaper than Apple’s top-of-the-line, whose 128 GB version costs $ 430 more than the Mi 11.

To refresh the memory, the Mi 11 was launched with the following prices (in values ​​already converted): R $ 3,215 (8GB / 128GB), R $ 3,456 (8GB / 256GB) and R $ 3,778 (12 GB / 256 GB). The iPhone 12 arrived, costing R $ 3,898.
