Apple made available on Monday (8) new final versions of the operating systems to its devices. Altogether, there are four updated platforms: iOS 14.4.1, iPad OS 14.4.1, macOS Big Sur 11.2.3, and watchOS 7.3.2.
The highlights consist of so-called “important security updates”, which correspond to vulnerability fixes and other general system enhancements, without the deployment of new features.
In all cases, the news involves solving a malicious process in WebKit that can lead to arbitrary code execution. In the description, it is explained that the issue of corrupted memory has been dealt with improved validation.
More specifically on iOS / iPad OS 14.4.1, the update can be downloaded for the following models: iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation).
In macOS Big Sur, the update is available to all users of machines equipped with version 11 of the Apple operating system. Finally, the new features of watchOS 7.3.2 have been released for Apple Watch Series 3 wearables and successors.
The trend is for new features to be implemented only from iOS and iPadOS 14.5, versions that are still in the testing phase.
The latest updates can be found on the official page dedicated to Apple updates ( at this link ).
