At the end of March, several rumors surfaced about the sixth generation of Motorola’s Moto G line, giving more details on devices such as the Moto G6, G6 Play and the possible specifications of the Moto G6 Plus. One of these specifications concerned the proportion of the Plus screen, and now a new leak seems to confirm the information.
New images of the device’s components have surfaced on the internet and better showcase his screen, with details about the parts manufacturer, and the presence of a fingerprint reader. With these images, it was possible to confirm that the G6 Plus will have a screen ratio of 18: 9, with a possible resolution of 2160×1080 pixels.
According to the leaks on the device, it should come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, with eight cores and a base clock of 2.2 GHz, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage (expandable up to 256 GB), battery of 3,200 mAh and come with Android 8 Oreo as operating system.
For the time being, Motorola has not commented on a possible launch date for the Moto G6 Plus but is expected to be released in the coming weeks, as the company has confirmed that it should start selling its new smartphones as of this month April. In addition, Motorola should launch in this period the already mentioned Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play.
