Asian graphics card maker expands the market.
Colorful is a company best known for its graphics cards, as well as motherboards and storage solutions, focused on Asian and European markets, but has just announced the launch of a new product in the iGame series. It is a DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz of the most common but also comes with a heatsink that seems taken from Warhammer 40,000, with its RGB and all. Apparently, this design is aligned with that of the rest of the brand’s iGame products.
We do not know if that RGB lighting, which is placed on top of the memories, will be compatible with lighting systems such as ASUS, MSI or Gigabyte, but what we do know is that these memories will arrive in 8 GB capacities. Interestingly, Colorful recommends using four kits to get “the best experience”, but we do not know if this means they can be used on four channels. We do not have a price or departure date, but we will be attentive. Unfortunately, it is not the first RGB RAM that goes on sale, thanks to Gigabyte.
