“It’s not about you, it’s about when,” Blizzard replies about the crossover game landing.
In just a few weeks, this November 2, is the release of Diablo III: Eternal Collection for Nintendo Switch. The premiere of the remarkable and beloved role-playing video game in the hybrid system and the current context of changes in the industry after Sony’s acceptance of the Fortnite cross game have opened the debate on whether users of the different platforms will be able to share adventures in the production of Blizzard. The answer is affirmative: it’s only a matter of time.
“It’s not about you, it’s about when,” a Blizzard Entertainment representative told the Business Insider portal during a recent test session. In this way, it can be concluded that the American company is already working on enabling this option for the enjoyment of PC and console users. However, Blizzard has already positioned itself in favor of cross-play at the time, while the parent group, Activision-Blizzard, will assess the potential impact of the cross game.
