LineageOS, one of the most popular ROMs currently, is always expanding official support and including new smartphone models – as it did last week with Essential Phone, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Mi 6, Razer Phone and others.
The latest to hit the list was OnePlus 6, the Chinese top-of-the-line release last year that gained official updates early in June, getting the Android security bundle for May.
That is, from now on, it may receive nightly compilations from Cyanogen’s successor platform, for those who want, of course, an alternative to OxygenOS.
As OxygenOS also brings a pretty “Stock” footprint for Android, users who install the ROM will not be that strange.
In the coming weeks, it is possible that LineageOS will also be available for OnePlus 6T – and newer versions like OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro should also be on the list soon.
