Recently a promotional image of the Redmi handset that will feature 64-megapixel camera revealed to the public the date on which the launch event will be held. According to the post by Mukul Sharma on his Twitter, the smartphone will be presented on August 7, next Wednesday.
In addition to the supposed day of the event, in the background of the poster you can see a design similar to a camera shutter, and below the slogan “Images of the Future”, implying that the main differential of this product will be the photographic quality. The date chosen by the manufacturer possibly aims to flop the release of Realme, which will happen the day after.
Redmi should launch 64 MP camera phone this month, says rumor
The race for the launch of the first 64 MP camera smartphone looks like it has been won by Realme. This is because the company announced that it should present its device on August 8 (next Thursday).
However, it is wrong to think that Redmi has given up on presenting its option. According to reliable Ice Universe, while not being the first to introduce the market, the Xiaomi subsidiary is expected to launch its 64 MP sensor smartphone later this month.
The only detail left to be confirmed is the official date. This makes it somewhat difficult to know if the announcement will be made next week or at the end of the month. Anyway, it is already certain that there will be no lack of comparisons between Redmi’s and Realme’s cell phones.
By the way, this month, Redmi will also release a 64MP camera phone, Samsung also restarted plans to launch 64MP A series phones in September-October.

Parallel to the Chinese launch, another company that may be preparing to announce a smartphone with 64 MP camera is Samsung. According to Ice Universe, this device will probably be of the Galaxy A line and should be officially announced between September and October.
For now, it is still unclear which Galaxy A should mark the debut of the novelty, but we all know that the next release of South Korea should be the A90. Note that all devices (Realme, Redmi, and Samsung) must use the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor.
