In addition to Verizon – one of the only US telecoms expected to sell the Galaxy Note 10 with Snapdragon 855 chipset – Sprint is already offering connectivity through the fifth generation of mobile networks in the country.
With a catalog of smartphones available that includes the LG V50 and the Galaxy S10 5G, the company is about to add another model to the offerings and will appear to be a OnePlus device.
The announcement makes it unclear what model we are talking about, but currently, the Chinese manufacturer only offers a single smartphone with 5G connectivity – the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Possible successor
However, a successor to OnePlus 7 Pro is expected for the second half of the year, an updated version with differences in the level that OnePlus 6T had for OnePlus 6 in 2018.
Available in parts of Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Kansas, Sprint’s 5G is due to debut in parts of Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, and Washington DC in the coming weeks.
We don’t have pricing details yet, or the release date for this new notebook for Sprint’s model catalog, so if you’re someone who usually imports smartphones, keep an eye out for what’s new anytime soon.

Compared to Verizon’s 5G, Sprint uses mmWave technology, which delivers greater coverage, but is a little behind download speed, reaching around 100 Mbps.
