Today we had the launch of a Motorola handset in India, the One Macro. Xiaomi also decided to use the day to unveil a smartphone, the Redmi 8. The new entry phone was finally made official after a series of rumors and leaks talking about its look as well as technical specifications. And indeed, all that had been disclosed is correct.
Redmi 8 has a slightly different look. In the rear we see the two cameras positioned vertically in the central region, with an LED flash and the fingerprint reader. At the front, a drop-shaped notch and very thin edges. The bottom is thick enough to hold the brand name.
One point that may cause controversy is the switch from the Snapdragon 632 processor to the lower Snapdragon 439 processor. However, it has a configuration with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage space.
