Sacrificial Path is a ‘roguelike’ in two dimensions in which players can control an adventurer with which they will have to face endless hordes of monsters, through levels generated in a random way.
The Sacrificial Path control system is relatively simple: on the left side we have the movement cursors and on the right side the action buttons, including attack, jump and special abilities. By pressing the up and down buttons, we can go up and down stairs.
Before starting a new game we can choose between four different character classes: the barbarian, the hunter, the paladin and the druid. Each character class offers a completely different style of play. With the druid, for example, we can attack from a distance all our enemies; while with the barbarian we will need to fight close by constantly using our healing abilities.
Our objective once the game starts is very simple: we must kill enemies without stopping until we get the attention of the ‘boss’ Of the level. Once we get to kill the boss, we can go to the next area. Luckily, as we go defeating enemies we will also get keys, with which we can open chests in which we will find many objects and weapons to make us stronger.
Sacrificial Path is an excellent ‘ roguelike ‘(more like a’ roguelite ‘), which offers a fun, addictive and practically infinite game experience. The graphic section of the game, also, although somewhat simple, has a certain charm.
