Announced in December 2020, the realme X7 Pro has pleased many users for its good value for money and 5G connection. Now, these phones are joining a select list that gives priority access to the new UI 2.0 realme. Better understand what this means for system updates that will be based on Android 11.
The realme UI 2.0 early access program is intended for those who want to test the version before it is released to everyone. It is like a beta program from realme UI that aims to report problems that must be represented before the system is released for realme X7 Pro.
The news was announced today in the official realme community, where it is specified that the beta version will be based on Android 11, so it will integrate all the news such as chat bubbles, classification of notifications by type, single-use permissions, and improvements in privacy that are present in Android 11.
To participate in early access to the realme UI 2.0 with Android 11, you must first understand what bugs must be present in this version. Therefore, it is recommended to make a backup of all data on the device, as if there is any problem it is possible to recover it manually, although this task is recommended only for specialists.
Some of the known issues are:
- Gesture navigation disabled;
- Crashes in certain scenarios;
- Delays when navigating to the home screen;
To install the update first, your Realme X7 Pro must be running the RMX2121PU_11.A.14 version of the Realme UI. Once this is done, access the Settings application and go to Software update> Touch the settings icon.
The Trial Version option will be available. Tap on it and then on Early Access. Read the entire text and confirm your participation. The update with the realme UI 2.0 should be distributed soon to some of the registered users. Thus, this procedure does not guarantee that you will receive the previous version, but it is necessary if you want to have the chance to participate in the tests.
