Gamers’ smartphones haven’t done very well in endurance tests on the JerryRigEverything channel. After the ROG Phone, 5 was shattered on video and the Legion Phone Duel 2 had, in fact, become two, now it is the turn of another competitor in the category to be tested to the fullest by the hands of Zack Nelson: the Xiaomi Black Shark 4.
In the video, we can see the unboxing done right at the beginning, and the box includes a protective cover, brand stickers, power cable, and a powerful charger with 120W of power at the factory. Nelson also highlights the cooling accessory (a fan that is attached to the back of the phone) and one of the differentials of the Black Shark 4 body, the retractable triggers.
Unlike competitors, who adopt pressable triggers that identify the pressure of the finger exerted on a sensor, Xiaomi offers two sliders on the right side that allows the triggers to be lifted, making them physical and clickable, offering a more interesting tactile response to the player.
Interestingly, the test shows us that Xiaomi has adopted a glossy plastic back cover instead of glass, a material that is usually used in such smartphones. The choice can be justified to reduce the price of the smartphone, which starts at 2,499 yuan in China (~ R $ 2,100) and will be launched later this month on the international market for US $ 499 (~ R $ 2,750).
For the happiness of all, the Black Shark 4 passes without problem the last test of resistance without breaking in half and without presenting flaws of structure.
The model adopts powerful specifications such as the Snapdragon 870 chipset (improved version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus from 2020), has up to 12 GB of RAM, and implements a display with an extremely responsive 144 Hz refresh rate.
