In search of serving the entry market, Xiaomi confirmed that it should launch a new wireless headset later this week. According to the company, the new Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic will be the highlight of an event that takes place next Wednesday (15).
In addition to confirming the launch of the devices, Xiaomi took the opportunity to reveal the final design of the accessories. As we’re talking about affordable Bluetooth headsets, we shouldn’t expect anything too surprising.
See below that Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic have a flat look and follow a line similar to that of the first generation Apple AirPods.

When we use Xiaomi’s latest releases as an example, the charging case for cheap headphones is also smaller and simpler. Apparently, we will not support wireless charging, and the docking will be done horizontally.
For now, there is still no information on the possible prices of the new Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic. Anyway, taking into account that the Redmi headphones cost an average of 2,399 rupees, something around R $ 170, everything indicates that Xiaomi should maintain good value for money.

However, as the company is adding greater value to Mi devices, don’t be surprised if the new phone is more expensive than the Redmi option. It is worth remembering that the price is an important attraction for Xiaomi headphones and this made the brand become the second largest in the segment.
