The YouTube platform went through a period of instability early on Thursday (25). According to several users of the social network, the site began to prevent the user from performing some tasks.
According to the website DownDetector, which monitors various online services, the social video network began to fail from the end of the afternoon, with about 130 reports at 5:40 pm and reached a peak of 567 complaints of instability around 7:11 pm, when it started to be normalized.
According to the analysis platform, 55% of complaints were related to the difficulty in accessing the channels. In some cases, the website displayed only a white screen and did not finish loading the information. In others, an error message was shown on the display. In addition, 26% of Internet users complained about problems in general with the site and another 18% with video playback.
At the time of this publication, the problem began to be resolved, according to some reports. But it is still possible that some users face difficulties accessing the services of the platform, mainly to open channels on YouTube.
It is worth remembering that the last major glitch reported by YouTube users was in late December when the platform “crashed” along with other Google services.
