Fossil, one of the very few brands that continue to launch smartwatches with Google’s Wear OS, has just made another product official in its growing catalog.
This is the fifth generation of the Fossil Touchscreen Smartwatch smartwatch that, despite its boring name, brings interesting specs for fans of this product category.
The 44 mm model features a 1.3 ”AMOLED panel and includes features such as a heart rate sensor.
Processing is handled by the Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset (same platform featured at last year’s launch of the brand ) – in addition to water protection, which ensures use in the pool and freshwater, the watch also includes extras like GPS and NFC to compatible with mobile payments (Google Pay).
Other differentials include speakers, which are rare to see on devices without 4G LTE connectivity; You can also accept phone calls right from your watch, interact with Google Assistant, play music, get notification alerts, and more.
The manufacturer promises longer battery life than 24 hours away from power outlets and offers users an economical mode called “Extended Battery Mode” that guarantees multiple days of use on a single charge.
