The Galaxy M42 is one of the next smartphones that Samsung is preparing to launch in India and, like any other device of the brand, it has been leaking a lot in the last few days, with certifications confirming that the cell phone will offer generous battery capacity and that it should get to the side other devices in the segment.
Now Samsung India confirms the existence of the device after so many leaks in a publication sponsored, interestingly, by the account of user Mukul Sharma, who was previously famous for leaking information and now generally presents teasers for manufacturers who are presenting news in India.
So yes, the Samsung #GalaxyM42 seems right around the corner. Got my hands on this video today.
The device will be the first-ever 5G phone in the Galaxy M lineup of smartphones 😍#FastestMonster @SamsungIndia pic.twitter.com/WAEd604Np6— Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) April 10, 2021
In the publication, Sharma states that the Galaxy M42 will be the first cell phone in the Galaxy M line with support for 5G, while the video shows us a quick animation of a green monster and, shortly thereafter, the screen is scratched by the claws. As it is a sponsored publication, it is clear that we would not have leaked details of the model.
Despite this, we already know that the smartphone is identified by the model number SM-M426B and, as it has already appeared in the benchmark tool Geekbench, it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 750G processor, 4 GB of RAM, and at least 64 GB of internal storage.

The model will offer a 6,000 mAh battery and a main camera with 64 MP. Further details such as screen size, refresh rate, release date, and price are yet to emerge in the coming days.
