Invasion! Tests will show Instagram Stories on Facebook to some users

You must have read here several times the tests that the Instagram team does on its interface, and they are not always well accepted by the community. And the impression that remains is that the main investment in the social network is in increasing the visibility of Stories, always privileged in these endeavors.

Another trend is the integration and interoperability between their platforms, and it is worth mentioning that Instagram and WhatsApp belong to Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg. And that goes through unified chats, a button dedicated to Messenger and now a novelty will make some users see Stories of people who follow on Instagram directly on Facebook.

This is basically a test, and followers will be able to choose to see their Instagram Stories on Facebook, although the views and likes will remain on the dedicated network for images and videos, and the username shown on Facebook will be that of the Instagram account.

This capability is still an optional experience and restricted to a small number of users, and the main premise for testing the feature is the link between accounts on the two social networks. Anyone who you don’t follow on Instagram will not be able to see the 24-hour posts on Facebook, as the idea is to share Stories only with people the user knows, and not with strangers.

s not yet known whether the tests will be expanded or will be part of a permanent implementation in the future.

This feature respects all existing privacy settings, and people on Instagram can choose not to have their story visible on Facebook. This is a limited test for now and we will hear comments from our community ”.
