The government, through the Ministry of Economy, is studying to release FGTS loot in rules that are still being studied. The measure may be announced next week, and interested parties can now check out how much they have in the Length of Service Guarantee Fund.
To do this, simply go to the Play Store or App Store and download the Box app for the query. With the same name as the special savings, the app is quite simple and goes straight to the point.
Those who are using the novelty for the first time should make a registration in which it is necessary to enter the following information:
- NIS
- Full names of father and mother
- Date of birth
- CPF, RG, and Electoral Title
After validating this information across systems – and note that no fields can be blank, or contain typos – you will need to create a password.
After that, it’s time to log in! And it’s fairly simple: re-enter the numbering of your NIS and check the box so the app will remember it. Then proceed with the password. Then you may need to update your address, so the system should show your FGTS balance.

It is important to remember that if the FGTS is even liberated by the government it is important to take care not to be victimized by scammers: in 2017 a spam using the Guarantee Fund for Time of Service sought to collect data of potential victims in exchange for the illusory offer of a balance high.
