A custom Android may even look the part Google designed for its mobile OS, but it’s been a while since Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi’s new look at their smartphones has been adding some really nice extra features.
MIUI 9.8.19 Beta is offering a few more, including the ability to schedule night mode on the phone. Thus, just as it is already possible to program the read filter that turns off the bluish tones, it becomes possible to remove the white from the interface at dusk.
Google commented that this is an interesting idea for a while, but it won’t come natively on Android Q.
Another novelty involves Screen Cast. You can now mirror multimedia content to an external display with Chromecast, but to a limited extent. Xiaomi’s feature has been updated and now allows specific windows to be streamed to a secondary screen. This can even be minimized on the smartphone. That is, you can stream a movie from your phone to your TV while continuing to browse social networks.
You can also mirror the content of your device to a TV even if your phone is off.
Remember, this week the Chinese confirmed some of the news that should be launched with MIUI 11. One of the favorite interfaces for those who like custom Android promises to evolve well.
