Rumors about the new Nokia flagship for 2020 continue to gain more and more momentum, and after leaks that indicated that HMD Global would be testing prototypes of Nokia 9.3 Pureview with camera under the tel and 120 Hz display, now the NokiaPowerUser website reveals that the company is committed to improving the photography experience.
While the Nokia 9 Pureview was presented with five cameras and a lot of expectation that was soon overshadowed by not playing the expected role, the new Nokia 9.3 Pureview should offer a competitor to the height and something that fans of the brand are waiting for.
Sources linked to the manufacturer said on the website that HMD Global is testing a Nokia 9.3 prototype that is capable of recording videos in 8K resolution at 30 fps, following the most powerful smartphones of 2020 to date, such as the Galaxy S20 line, for example.
It is also said that, although this characteristic is considered experimental, the results are being good enough for HMD to introduce into the final model. With that, it is likely that such recording capacity in 8K will reach the brand’s flagship.
Another detail is for the “Night” and “Pro” photography modes: the source says that the HMD imaging team is working hard to improve these two users’ most favorite modes. “While the Pro mode can offer improved controls and refined algorithms, the Night mode can see a major advantage of including optical image stabilization and the larger pixel size.”
It is also said that HMD is working alongside Zeiss to refine the unique effects that the Nokia 9.3 PureView camera suite can achieve.

So far it is said that HMD works on five rear cameras for its flagship. Among them, we have information on the main sensor with a resolution of 64 MP and another sensor of 108 MP whose lens remains unknown. In addition, we have the probable inclusion of a camera under the screen and support for a 120 Hz panel. If expectations were high for Nokia 9 in 2019, it seems that they are even higher for Nokia 9.3 in 2020.
