Considered by many as the best alternative launcher for Android, Nova Launcher has officially made available another round of updates for its test version, this being officially named Nova Launcher 7.0 Beta, which is responsible for bringing some news to its users.
Based on AOSP’s Launcher3, the new version brings visual changes and rewritten code, which is the gateway to the availability of new features soon, something that has already begun to be noticed in this new distribution, which can be downloaded by fans.
Among the novelties perceived in the new version, we have as main highlights the inclusion of the possibility of saving APKs when pressing an app icon, being this functionality together with others already known as deletion (if it is on the home screen), uninstallation, information of app, editing and more.
In addition, it is also possible to see that the option to have the search bar available at the bottom of the application drawer becomes available, something that can especially favor devices with longer screens, making it closer to the user’s hands.
Additionally, it is also possible to observe that the possibility of vertical scrolling in created folders has been included, with the available pages indicated with points exposed on the right side of the folder when it is opened, as can be seen below.
To close, some corrections and improvements are also confirmed when compared to previous distributions, including the export of PNG to widgets, the non-operation of gestures in the widget of the App Dialer, the inappropriate behavior of colors, and more.

Those interested in installing the new version can now download the installer directly from APKMirror (link below) or link to the Play Store test program to receive the new beta when it is officially available in the official store.
