A new leaked back to the design and character details that we already expect in relation to the successor to Xperia 1, Sony’s next high-performance smartphone for the second half of this year: Xperia 2.
After details of the smartphone began appearing in March this year, more and more new information has been refined, fueling earlier rumors and increasing the likelihood of launching the product under such specifications. This time, protective cover designs were published by the Indian leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore and, as expected, reinforce the flagship design of Sony.
In the images above it is possible to notice very clearly the details of the device: the rear triple camera now fixed in the upper left corner instead of being centralized, the screen with few changes from the previous model, the presence of volume buttons, biometric lateral reader just below the power button (which for some reason will still remain separate from the biometric reader) and a dedicated button for photography, which is always useful.
The leak basically reinforces all the points of CAD models leaked a few days ago by renowned Steve Hemmerstoffer.
As for specs, the flagship of Sony is expected to arrive with a 6-inch OLED screen and standard 21: 9 for movie experience, supporting HDR and 2K resolution. The power of the device will be borne by the Snapdragon 855 chipset, and Sony is expected to present a 5G edition of the product with the Snapdragon X50 modem to enable connectivity with next-generation networks.
