Stay tuned! Registration for the FIES is open until July 1

RegistrationThe Student Financing Fund – FIES – opened selection for the second semester. Interested parties will be able to claim one of the 150 thousand financings being offered by the MEC for the edition. Entries began today (25) and run through July 1.

While the SiSU distributes the vacancies of federal universities for free and ProUni offers 100% or 50% scholarships in private universities depending on income criteria, the FIES is a third way for those who wish to pursue their studies by taking a loan from the banks to finance a course.

Those who have a family per capita income of up to three minimum wages can finance the entire college at zero interest rates, paying only what actually costs higher education. People with per capita income between three and five salaries can take a low-interest loan.

The contracts take into account the grade obtained in the ENEM. The result can be used in any edition of the National High School Examination after the year 2010, so the writing grade is greater than zero and the overall performance has been above 450 in all four areas of knowledge.

The result will be announced by the MEC on July 9. Those selected will have days 10, 11 and 12 to sign a contract.
