Success! Google Gallery Go reaches 50 million downloads in the Play Store

Google Gallery GoLaunched in July 2019, Google Photos’ Go Gallery is the tool for organizing your captured images on a more modest Android phone in order to achieve better performance. This week the app reached 50 million downloads from the Play Store.

Designed to be installed natively on smartphones with Android Go – the most compact edition of the operating system – the app can also be downloaded on devices with the normal version of the Google platform. In other words, the combination of the two situations would explain the high number of downloads so far.

Among the main possible features in Galeria Go, is the classification of files by Artificial Intelligence – to give quick links to folders of screenshots, people, and videos at the top.

The tool also has a dedicated dark theme and offers editing features without the need for a subscription. In this way, it is an alternative even to ordinary photos – especially for those who do not like the main app interface.

How to download?

If you do not have a device with Android Go – that is, you do not have the application installed natively – you can download it directly from Galeria Go through your page on the Google Play Store. The link can be found on the card below the text.
