Take care, OnePlus 8! Poco F2 can arrive costing less than the competitor

OnePlus 8Poco took several fans of the brand by surprise earlier this week when it announced that it is preparing news, which in this case would be the availability of a new smartphone on the market, the Poco F2. The announcement can be made two years after the launch of the first product, which had high popularity for being a top of the line at a low price.

And, according to recent leaks, the former subsidiary Xiaomi will maintain the same purpose as the first device, making the main competitors worry about what is to come, mainly the OnePlus 8, which will be the main competitor of the cell phone.

Taking into account the configurations to be applied to the model based on the flagship considered to be “target to be slaughtered”, it is expected that the Poco F2 will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 platform together with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, showing that there will be a more “basic” model and a high-performance model.

Something that left many users in doubt about the categorization of the Pocophone F1 was the design part, since the body was all plastic, leaving only the internal part for each one to determine if the device could be defined as the top of the line or do not.

However, everything indicates that this year the Chinese manufacturer will invest more on the external part, with a visual quoted to be similar to that applied to the Redmi K30 Pro, something that will directly influence the price, but it will still make it cheaper than the OnePlus 8.

For those who are curious, there are rumors pointing that the Poco F2 will be sold with versions from € 649 (~ R $ 3,914), which represents € 70 less than the compatible model from OnePlus.

It is not yet known when the cell phone will be launched, but, based on everything that has already leaked, probably this semester. Something that may be a novelty in the line is the possible launch of a premium intermediary, which will be the successor to the Poco X2.
