The long-awaited Vivo NEX 3 has just won one of its first official hands-on videos by Mrwhosetheboss YouTuber Arun Maini just before its official announcement, featuring some of the features of the London tour device.
Early on one of the main highlights is the new screen presented by the Chinese manufacturer Vivo that will be a trend in the high-performance smartphone market going forward: the waterfall panel with many curved sides than any other glass device of 3D cutting already presented so far.
In the video you can see the big difference between the sharp curve of the screen of the NEX 3 against the Galaxy S10 Plus ; While Samsung’s model features a slightly bent screen, the competitor can make the panel “melt” to the sides of the body, and as a result the company needed to remove the physical buttons to give sword to the screen.
Maini does not describe accurate smartphone data because such details are under embargo until the device’s official announcement, so information such as screen size, battery, chipset, and other details are omitted, highlighting only a preview before the review video.
Youtuber also highlights the Vivo NEX 3 rear camera suite, which claims it can’t talk much, but claims to be “different from the animator.” According to rumors, the company should bet on a main 64 MP sensor.
And we also have a 5G test in London, where we see a 4G S10 Plus running for a speed test against the NEX 3 5G. The new smartphone from Vivo can reach speeds 10x higher than the competitor, but the possibility of 5G connectivity is even higher, reaching more than 1 Gbps. Check out the full video below.
NEX line is about innovation
Since the Vivo NEX S launched in July 2018, the manufacturer’s proposal on the NEX line was innovation. The first model in the NEX family came with a retractable camera and on-screen biometrics, one of the first devices in the world to feature such a surprising configuration at the time.
With the Vivo NEX Dual Display, the company highlighted a handset with two screens: a notched front and a rear so users could use the device’s only cameras to capture quality selfies.
