WhatsApp beta gets branded update to remind that it’s from Facebook

WhatsApp betaWhatsApp beta has received a new update on Android. However, while many eagerly await dark mode, version 2.19.33 of the app features only the new Facebook logo.

According to WABetaInfo, the update is now available to most beta users. So whenever you open the app, the launcher screen should show the messenger logo and just below a “from FACEBOOK”.

In addition, the brand will also be present on the activation and settings page. Thus, the news ends marking a greater integration of the application to the Facebook portfolio.

Announced last week, Facebook’s new brand was born in an attempt to differentiate the company’s social network. So Mark Zuckerberg’s company should now add “from FACEBOOK” to all of its products, such as Messenger, Instagram and Facebook itself.

Another novelty that we can also see in the screenshots above is the long-awaited dark mode. According to some users, the news may already be activated. However, this requires a somewhat complex procedure for most users.

Therefore, you still need to have a little patience and wait for the messenger to release the official resource through the beta channel. This should happen within the next few weeks, as the news is already quite complete.
