World of Tanks will stop being an exclusively multiplayer game to win its first single player campaign on August 22. The news, announced by developer Wargaming last Thursday (17) should affect primarily the versions of the game for tablet consoles.
The promise of the company is that the movie War Stories will offer episodic content that will allow players to relive historical moments in a somewhat different way. While the base will be what happened in the real world, the developer will not be afraid to “play” a little with what happened, and can even explore the fantasy world a little.
Between the scenarios available until an attack of tanks in England during World War II, a conflict between the Allies and the Soviet forces in German territory and a war triggered by the Crisis of the Misséis in Cuba. You will be able to play alone or summon friends to take part in the adventures, which bring a new tank to use in tutorial mode.
To complete, Wargaming has created three new training missions covering aspects such as basic motion, hazard detection, long-range sight and what you should know about the armor and performance of your vehicles. The promise is that the single player campaign will continue to receive news and updates in the coming months.
